Marian McNair, MFA is an accomplished artist and musician and has taught for over 25 years. Marian has a strong commitment to the creative process and encourages her students to explore the arts in a cooperative way through painting, sculpture, drawing, design, writing skits and acting out their work with singing, movement and playing musical instruments.

She teaches guitar and voice privately with an emphasis on learning chord structures and proper breathing, while having fun and developing a love of music.

During her continuing studies, Marian has been published in "Igniting Creativity in Gifted Learners, K-6" by Joan Franklin Smutny & S. E. von Fremd, Corwin Press. (Marian McNair's contribution: chapter 7, "Creating Art Strategies for the Gifted, p. 286-288)

Marian's greatest joy is to sing and watch student's work develop as they take ownership in the power of their own creativity.
